Back Joy, a national posture product company, is tying up with Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics to improve access to products and services for the relief of common every day back pain, neck pain and headaches.

The philosophy of natural, non-drug approaches to pain management is what brings these two premiere companies together. Back Joy has 15 locations in the Philippines and Mabuhay has 10 clinics nationally once Cebu opens in July.

In their co-branding activities, there will be online sales and in person posture screenings available at their various locations. This means that most anyone in Metro Manila or Cebu can undergo a free posture evaluation; one accurate enough to determine specific products and services that will help you out of your pain predicament.

This is sounding more like a press release than a blog (lol) because this is an exciting development for the good people of the Philippines. For a FREE posture screening, here are their respective locations, which are periodically updated as both companies expand.

A famous quote by docMIKE is as follows: “Posture is a Reflection of your Health.” Why this is true has everything to do with two things: The integrity of your spine can be seen by looking at your posture. This can be rated on a scale of 1 to 10 and it’s interpretation has health consequences. The spine, protects your sensitive nervous system yet when misalignments and other postural defects are present, as the nerves control all body parts, therefore your body and your health just aren’t at their best.

Think about this. Whenever you see someone with excellent posture you naturally assume that they have excellent health. But the opposite is also true. When you see someone with poor posture or bad posture you geberally assume they have poor health or bad health. How did you come to that conclusion? A lifetime of observations of people and certainly not some scientific magazine. I guess you could say it’s just plain common sense. So the statement that your posture is a reflection of your health is a very significant statement.

So what’s your posture look like? Well the good news is between the Back Joy stores and kiosks in malls throughout the country and the growing number of Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics mostly located in malls as well, your opportunity to undergo a professional posture screening is there. Best news is that it’s free.

Why is it free? Because in part this is a public service rendered by these two posture giants. Secondly, for those who do test out with problems, they can discuss options that will give them real results. Refreshing and helpful information.

So have you had your spine checked lately?

    Hi,

My daughter was last seen by an orthopedic doctor last Feb this year. Diagnoses with Juvenile Scoliosis.
Will Chiropractic help reduce pain and correct the curve?

    Thank you.

Dear Angel, Your daughter’s spinal pain is not uncommon as scoliosis progresses. Although chiropractic spine care will not cure the scoliosis it will do two things: 1. take care of any pains that are present, make her stronger and 2. likely reduce the curve between 5% and 20%, At least that is our experience. Please consult one one of our local chiropractors at http://chiropractic.com.ph docMIKE
